I first met the cards of my Rider-Waite deck in 1992. Almost immediately the deck was mine and I was it’s empress. Over the years we would play and talk. Many years we were also completely silent, but these cards never left me. Now decades later, still a student of the hidden rivers of life, several gurus have come to me to bestow an re-awakening in my relationship with omens and the cosmos allowing me to understand how our relationship with planets, elements, animals and time impact our journey. Most influential early teachers include Pragata in the TAROT lineage of Ohso and Alejandro Jodorowsky, and Renay Oshop in the JYOTISH lineage of Hart de Fouw. In 2020 I joined the Parāśara Jyotiṣa 5 year program led by Sanjay Rath and also entered into study of Sanskrit at the University of Wisconsin to continue my study in this path.
